"road Worthy" Trials Tires

Hello folks

I am currently building a runabout hybrid , Tl 125 with a Reflex engine.

as I am planning to use this bike mostly for general transport and trail riding I don't think a nice soft and expensive Michelin tire is a good choice here.

about 20years ago I used Barum tires with a trials tread pattern that were rock hard and lasted forever on the road.

that's sort of what I am after now. Looks like a trials tire but is tough as a hockey puck.

any suggestions as to what I should be hunting for??

Pirelli (I think model is MT43) are similar to your old Barums.

Barum is called MITAS nowadays. MITAS also make trials tyres that wear slower than the Michelin/Dunlop/IRC competition-only tyres but probably not as long wearing as the Pirellis.
