Can anyone offer some advice on cleaning the middle section of my Techno exhaust, please?

I seem to remember hearing of using some kind of acid, having plugged the ends, but I can't remember what it was.

I reckon the 'acid' you're asking about is caustic soda.

I guess the reason you've had no replies is that it is very hard to recommend using this stuff as it is a health and safety nightmare.

If you can find it..watch out it's nasty.

I would nt recommend for the reason HAM2 gave but also if the middle box is aluminium the caustic soda may damage the middle box. I bought some once to decoke a 314 mont exhaust but when I read the instructions they said NOT to mix in an aluminium bucket so left it alone. Get the bike down a fast track for half an hour its a lot more fun and probably a safer way of decoking.....
