Sorry, never had my hands on one of those. From what I remember it looks mostly like the '07 only the graphics are slightly different and the frame is a lighter grey color. First year with the black rims.

I can't say for sure. To be honest I became a Sherco/Scorpa dealer in late '07 and the SY 250 was one of the first few bikes I sold. I rode the bike in my yard after setting it up and I rode other '07's out at a trial, but didn't spend enough time on them to tell all the differences between the 07 & 08. I will say I just got the '08 and rode it in a trial this last weekend and I was very impressed with it in the sections :D I believe the main difference in the '07 & '08 are the forks. The '08 has the larger 40mm Marzocchi forks & the '07 the 38mm Piaioli's
