What is the benefit of a road legal trials bike? What would you look for as a beginner - I guess you pay more for a road legal bike? If buying a non road legal bike how do you check the seller is the owner! Yes to your first question, no need for a headlight though - do a search for 'day light Mot' on these forums. Benefits include: - 1) being able to ride trials that have some road work included 2) easier to insure a bike when it has been registered with the DVLA I wouldn't pay any more for a road registered bike if I was buying second hand, nice if it's already been done though. Ask the current owner for a receipt if they bought it new and/or check the frame and engine numbers with the UK importer...
