July 23, 200818 yr major credit to the club, the trial was spot on. shame about the poor showing when other local clubs had large entries just for club trials. dissapointing that the ACU allowed trials on the same day on the doorstep really (hillsborough,bradford). especially when barnsley received so much praise from the riders that entered the trial including Phil disney
July 23, 200818 yr Hi Craig Nice to see you on the site!!! It is a pain when other Trials are on in the area. However the only ones "protected" are the Centre and Group Trials. When there are on only Novice/restricted Trials are allowed. The Centre Restricted Trials aren't protected in the same way so You have to fight it out with whichever Club Trials are on that day.

Barnsley trials are some of the most sensible and enjoyable events out there. Its not just the event but also the organisers and local personalities that make them fantastic days out. Myself and other mates travel further than necessary and well out of centre to attend where we can.

July 24, 200818 yr not knocking them at all,a lot of time and effort is put by the organisers,maybe they are just as hard as a center trial should be.
