August 23, 200818 yr Hi been looking for a 250 rev3 07 but havnt found a good one yet.Got chance of a 270 at right price and its immaculate.Just wonderded if any body could tell me what they ride like,would it be too much of a handful for a clubman and any mods you can do to make them more clubman friendly.Cheers.
August 23, 200818 yr Mmmmm...intersting, I had exactly that problem a couple of years ago. All the 250s I looked at were mingers, but there was a v.good 270, so I bought that. I didnt really want it since I've owned 250s and 270s before and always prefered the 250...(I'm an average kind of clubman rider). However, I got used to the 270 and now Im not sure which I would prefer to go with when I've got enough dosh to upgrade again. My advice would be get whatever is in best shape, and you'll get used to it. I've never found it too much of a handfull and I always take the flywheel weight off mine which is supposed to make them a bit snappier too. Hope that might help.
August 24, 200818 yr have you looked on colin appleyards used stock list? they have a 270 that seems well priced. hardly been used to.
