Whilst looking over a later (2002) 315 at a recent trial, I noticed that it had a 2 piston front caliper as opposed to my 1998s single piston. My questions are.

1. Has anybody swapped to a 2 piston from a single?

2. How easy ( was it just a caliper change or did you have to swap discs etc

3. Would the caliper from a Honda CR Motocross bike from the same era fit (1998)?

4. If anyone has a 2002 on 315R what is the measurement between the mounting holes?

The braking twin caliper is a straight swap. Malcolm Rathmell Sport supplied the one I put on a 97 315. The disc guard will need to be altered. Other than that, it was a fit bleed and ride.
