Fuel Mixing ?

Featured Replies

I am new to the sport and wondered what everyone used to mix 2-stroke up ?

I have used just the usual green plastic jerry can but wondered if there is a neater solution ?

I'm newish to the Sport too, So i use Ipone Strawberry two stroke oil which comes with a built in measurer. I just squeeze the required amount up the tube on the bottle ( 80-1 ) then just add to one full Green plastic Petrol can ( 5 Liters ), Easy!!!!!!!!!!!

I was recommended 50:1 mix by my dealer. 100ml to every 5 litres, Motul 710. I have always used the green plastic jerry cans, they do the job nicely and i've had no need for the big metal ones. plus it keeps costs down!!

I use a thing called accurmix or something like that, you can find them on fleebay. it is basicly a plastic can with 2 compartments, 1 for oil and the other petrol with numbered markings on both for all mixes, 50:1 25 etc etc and all you do is turn it upside down to mix it all. really easy to use even i mange it and i think they prob mix 5-6 litres at a time
