It astounds me by reading folks views on this matter that some are prepared to take and not give on this issue! If i want to take part properly, in that i mean with an observer present which means He/Her giving their time to stand and Help out on the Day then Surely it's only right that you take a turn!!! Our Club has the understanding that if you want to be part of the Championship, every Rider has to Observe one Trial that way the Scoring at the End of the Year is Fair and also ensuring the Years Championship will continue without too much trouble!! Though i can see the problem with a Trial that has a Larger turnout!
  6. Your right, you will be nervous! But everyone has to start somewhere, so just try to stay calm at the first section and don't go first........ wait till near the end so you can watch the other riders walk the section then observe which lines they take through it! After you ride the first one then the nerves will ease........ then it's time to enjoy!!! And make sure you have all what you will need on the Day too!
  7. Many thanks Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never knew that the Control Button did that. And i will keep the Twiddling something else to ma self!
  8. Sorry in advance to viewers of this topic, as it has nothing to do with trials!!! Though i was hoping that somone reading this can help me resizing this page! I'm currently reading this and the Font size is Massive. Last night i did something that i can't fix! I clicked on something and abnd Scrolled the mouse button and the Writing and everything else went Huge and i cant find out how to return to normal!!! I do hope this makes sense to someone!! Iv'e logged out then back in again, but still the same problem. though i suppose i could just sit about 8 Feet back from the monitor, then it would be Sound!!! many thanks............
  9. Defo Gas Gas......... as my 2005 250 is the only newish Trials bike iv'e owned!!!

I have a 2005 250 and would also like to make the clutch pull lighter, you don't notice it at first when on the Bike for a short time though after a few hours you certainly do ! So do you think by investing on this " Clutch spring" for my 2005 it would make it easier for me ? Many thanks, Hoggle !
  12. I was kind of a beginner last year and got a 2005 Gas Gas 250 pro, and although it was my first Trials bike for 25 Years i think it has plenty of power and have never had a problem doing any sections on it. It would be a good idea to let people know where your from by saying so on your Profile as if your close to a Trial go along and someone might let you have a wee spin on a bike to show you what the bikes are capable of ! Because it depends on a Few things like Experience, Weight, Age, Ability....etc !
  13. Hello there Kibsy ! Although i have no idea where in the North you can recieve lessons, i reckon if you have a place where to practice regulary this can improve your riding as the more you can get time on your bike the better you will become. Try to join a local Trials Club if you can as the Guys there will help you with most riding questions, also Send off for the Ryan Young Dvd which although quite pricy it has all you need to get started and some more advanced stuff in it too !
  14. She was only the batsman's daughter, but she could take a full toss in her crease. !
