2008 Sherco 290 Rear Shock

Featured Replies

Hi

My 08 290 rear shock seems to be bottoming out very quick? anyone recomend anything?

Cheers

It is usually neccessary to adjust the spring after it settles.

I run mine to where the rear will settle about 20-30mm under its own weight(bike only, no rider).

This could require 3 or more turns of the adjuster ring. :guinness:

there is also a dampening adjustment located from the left side just past the chain tensioner, start it at 5-6 clicks out or counter clockwise. turning it in will increase dampening.

I thought that was only for rebound dampening??

Best of balance.
