Can anyone help.

The Kickstart spring has failed and I have a new one to fit.

Can this be done in situ or does the shaft have to be removed?

    I have done one without removing the shaft,a bit awkward but can be done.

    Plenty strength needed to pre-load the spring and force it through the hole in the shaft.
