wanariot Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 My 04 beta 200 starts and runs fine untill you get past 3/4 throttle and then it starts missing i.e. 4 stroking and sounding like the choke is on, anything but crisp and correct. I think my main jet is too big but haven't had a chance to change it to find out. I would be interested to hear if this is the correct diagnosis. tudor Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 It's probably the CDI unit that's faulty. I had the same symptoms with my Beta 200 and was told it was either the CDI or the stator. I got the stator rewound first but no joy, then fitted a new CDI and it was fine.
