May 15, 200917 yr Does anyone know anything about respoking a 'z' spoke rear wheel from a 250 mono? I have some spokes but it seems you can't replace individual spokes due to the 'z' bit. Do I have to remove all the spokes to replace one? Or is there a special technique? Any help appreciated! John.
May 15, 200917 yr Not an expert on that type of spoke but from from experience on rebuilding ty175 wheels I would say if the spoke wont come out and if you dont want to bend it to get it out then you will have to remove others .
May 15, 200917 yr Author Oh i got it out! Angle grinder sorted that for me, just can't get the new one in.
May 16, 200917 yr It has been too long to remember, but you will have to loosen and maybe remove a few. The sequence was like every 4th one. Good luck with the stuck nipples.
May 16, 200917 yr Author Nipples are no problem as i have a full set of new ones but it is looking like i'm going to have to take out a few more than i wanted too!
