Keihin On Cub

Hi,

Just got around to fitting a Keihin PW22 carb on my cub, I bought it from auto jumble it is jetted 38 idle, 98 main, 2.5 slide.

It is far more responsive than than the Anal concentric that was on(pun in10did) :guinness: , but will not idle correctly keeps 8 stroking with black smoke from exhaust but pick up is superb.

Does anyone have any tips, idle jets appear unobtainable this carb was on early Honda twins CD175/200 I believe, also on the TLR seeley Honda.

I have yet to try the fuse wire trick.

Any help much appreciated.

ive tried it and its better but not purfect

Hi, will the mixture screw on it not give any adjustment ? not an expert on these carbs it was just a thought, perhaps even adjusting the float level could help, Ok now tell me to shut up as I dont know what I'm talking about.

Regards Andy.
