Not sure that my mother and father knew, but my uncle took me along a few times. That was how I got into bikes - production racing, a bit of scambling, a few knacked old trials bikes, and road bikes. I then had a 17 year gap bringing up my family and am now back to road bikes and trials. All down to those smoky nights in Farnham Common. Did you buy me a shandy?
