I have a couple questions with regards to the above. I am at the point of putting the transmission into the engine cases. When locating the selector drum should it be in neutral or a specific gear and how do I tell if it's in the correctly selected gear?

    John Just done my 242 and didn't select anything just installed it. Had to install it a few times as I had strange things happening with but got there in the end. Just have a go.
