Ty Mono Plastic Tank

Featured Replies

Eddie,

You might be lucky if you ask about, maybe stick an advert on Wobblie Will's and on TC'c classified, I have a brand new pinky tank in a box for my TY which I will be sticking on when I can start riding it again, the point I'm making is that if I have one stashed away then some else might also have one and no longer have a TY to stick it on. Just to clarify this is in no way an advertisement for me trying to entice you to buy mine as I will NOT be selling mine!

As regards sealing, I've heard about attempts to seal the inside of the tank to prevent fuel vapour escaping which would allow painting but I don't know how successful this is over time.

I bought a new genuine one off Yamaha, not so many years ago (2004), it was not cheap though.....
