This is probably a daft question, main bearings have failed on 200cc rev3 2001 are they ment to be plain ball bearing open cage 62/30/16?

the reason i'm asking is because on a website based in church stretton they have pictured a sealed bearings with a type of metal seal?

didn't know if this was just a stock photo?

also whats the best quality bearing manufacturer? fag skf koyo?

Hi,

I replaced the main crank bearings on my 2002 Beta Rev 3. I purchased the bearings from the main UK importers Lampkins. I do not remember the make but was surprised when they arrived because they were sealed bearings.

I bought some from Lampkins for my 250 and gave to my local shop to fit. They removed the metal bit before fitting. work great.
