Beta Rear Disk

Featured Replies

does anyone know if the rear brake disk from a 2007 rev 3 is compatable with an evo? i heard they may be larger in diameter and could be turned down to suit ? anyone know for sure ? thanks

The Rev disc is larger but the main problem is the bolt holes as the Rev used a floating rear disc so it has a larger diameter hole to bolt on to the hub compared to the Evo disc. Hope this helps you. Bill

I couldn't understand why the floating disc of the rev3 was dropped infavour of the Evos fixed disc. I get more squeaks out of my evo rear brake than ever I did with the rev. I assume this is simply the lack of clearance tolerance not accomodating any minor warp of the disc or wheel? Seems a backward step on a trials bike.
