May 24, 201016 yr I have oil leaking from my gearbox, seems to be the main gasket? What is this part called? and how difficult is it to replace? Cheers jon
May 27, 201016 yr Author Anyone? I think it is the clutch cover gasket where oil is coming from, would that make sense if I am losing gearbox oil?
May 27, 201016 yr Take a look at the parts diagram and identify which gasket it is, it will be an easy job to replace ! Most likely is the casing gasket. Do a search on youtube, there may even be a video tutorial ( might be for a different bike but the methods are roughly the same ) Also, take a look on the Sherco website......Waynes help...... Gives a good idea of what's involved.

Only ever done this for water pump gaskets, its quite easy, just annoying if you get to the end and screw it up.... Get a good craft knife, for the holes I always use a drill, just make sure its flat on a piece of timber.
