moestyles Posted September 20, 2010 Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 Hello there Completely new to this game, purchased an 03 scorpa to keep my active over the winter. eBay purchase and when I went topic it up there is a distinct engine knock. The lad I purchased it from confidently assures me that this the norm and there is nothing to worry about! Is he correct or have I been royaly ripped off? Mine ( same bike ) sounds a bit noisy and rattly, but this hasn't increased since I've owned it. pete_scorpa3 Posted September 20, 2010 Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 I've had my '05 from new and it still sounds fairly quiet, (I only ride the easy stuff) I have noticed others that sound quite mechanical, even fairly new ones.
