December 23, 200322 yr i dont think any bike comes close to the power of the mont.they are unreal and pull on anything.jus a problem with weight?im plannin a Montesa for my next bike.

December 28, 200322 yr There was a frame geometry change in 02 and a noticable difference in the power, porting changes!
January 4, 200422 yr Sherco 99 'The Mont hasn't really changed since 96 ' You must be joking. I have recently changed from a 98 to a 01 and when you ride them they could almost be different bikes. The 01 has much more power, better suspension and is geared differently.
January 5, 200422 yr NO WAY! i had a 98 and change to a 2000 in 2000 fitted boysen reeds and straight pipe and to be honest, can not justify changing it!
