Makes me wonder why I'm struggling to sell two Grippers, all rebuilt and for less than that project cost, and which are just as good as a Majesty if well set up. No logic.

Agreed....................just got my new Fantic home tonight, new Rockshox & all done up & ready to trial, for a lot less than the pile of Majesty bits on ebay @ £2050

Sweet bike this Fantic, although it was dark, I had the need to ride it around my field

So does that make a pre Godden modified early Yam framed bike worth more then????

I always thought the Yam frame rode nicer than the Godden frame anyway. The Godden frame on its own was a heavy lump and the Godden bike was front heavy. The Yam frame was quite light and that bike felt more nimble and flickable.

I'd prefer the Yam framed Majesty from the two.
