April 19, 201115 yr Been to look at an 07 plate montesa. Seems ok part from this best described as a tinny clutch rattle! Any ideas be helpful? Also anyting that I should keep in mind that's likely to be going or wearing? Thanks chris

April 20, 201115 yr Had problem like that with a mitani clutch when pulled all the way in. Replaced clutch and rattle gone. Seems when they wear down it does that.
April 20, 201115 yr Author Now then, ye this rattle was like with the clutch out on like tickover, just tinking be another ting to replace, maybe clutch plates loose or bearing somewhere
April 20, 201115 yr If the rattle is there when ticking over in neutral, but goes away once the clutch is pulled in, its normal clutch basket rattle, any other times not normal. My 3 4RT's have all been like this after about a years use
