I am missing the spring for the side stand. Is this an easy part to order or are there other springs easier to get that work equally well ?

There are 2 springs for the sidestand; one fits within the other.

Thanks Esteve. I called Apex and was told they do not handle Montesa parts anymore and he refered me to Lewisport in California.

Spoke with Andrian, very nice guy.

The 2 springs were available for 9$ for the small and 12$ for the large ( apparently they go inside each other).

Shipping out today.

Got the springs in the mail today...and effectively one fits easily inside the other...

Now my question is which side attaches where? one end has an open ended curve and the other end is circular...
