Was just wondering if someone could spread some light on the situation with the piston rings for a gas gas tx270 1999. Is it true that you can no longer get original piston rings you need to buy the piston kit?

And also are most trials bike parts the same I.e brake and clutch leavers and kick starts and rear brake leavers? Maybe even wheel bearings?? Complete novice with bikes here :(
