Just stripped down a rev3 for the common fault on the water/clutch housing, because of the coolant quality ( oil and water mix ) and found it to be slightly corroding and are going to replace the parts, was just wondering which parts are recommended and are genuine beta parts still the same as the original magnesium ones that were used?

On the subject of carbon im truck mechanic and when I come across carbon build up around injectors on a van we use White spirits ( the strong stuff for car body paint) Not to sure if it might react with the metal the exhaust is made of ? ?

Haha thanks Wayne That's also something else I've noticed are the sizes I'm not used to these which converts to a size 9? Also thanks for the good wishes i thought that will be the case as it also looks really hard but im not going to give in easy

Hi I'm very new to trials and have just bought my first bike still can't ride it yet due to medical reasons, was just wondering which are the best boots and helmets to go for for sensible money as I may not take to it? ? Any help muchly appreciated

Was just wondering if someone could spread some light on the situation with the piston rings for a gas gas tx270 1999. Is it true that you can no longer get original piston rings you need to buy the piston kit? And also are most trials bike parts the same I.e brake and clutch leavers and kick starts and rear brake leavers? Maybe even wheel bearings?? Complete novice with bikes here

Hi I've just bought a gas gas tx270 I believe the year is 1999, as would be expected it needs bits of jobs doing to it, I was just wondering if anyone could help me with where I can find parts? And are parts still readily available for this bike? Any help would be much appreciated thanks.
