Is there something to the report from my buddy that his clutch engages too far out from the bar and will not adjust properly. He tells me that the screw has no effect?

Someone tell me whats up so I can let him know!

MC :)

Forget using the standard clutch master cylinder. Remove it and replace it with a clutch master cylinder from a 315. No other modification needed, simply bolt it on and use, it makes the 4RT clutch just like a 315 clutch. Just about all the bikes in the UK that I come across have this modification on, it's not expensive, a complete clutch master cylinder with lever in the UK is about

Hi Hillary

Can you be more specific as too what you mean by the 315r master cyl making it work better

my 4rt seems hard to slip the clutch as it tends to be grabby changing to silkolene trans oil has helped but not totally satisfied yet

I have no problems with the engagement point since I modified the plunger pin day one

thanks for your help
