September 2, 201114 yr I aquired this reed for my rev3 250 and noticed that some of the petals will not sit down against the block. I thought i would try flipping the petals to see if they would close better but i cannot see how to get the petals free without damaging somthing. I tried pushing on what looks to be a gudgin pin but it would not move without excessive force and it seems there is nowhere to lift the outside petal restraint blocks. Anyone know how to remove these petals without damaging them. I have a photo but it dosent look like i can post it.

Don't worry too much if the seal is not perfect, as the crankcase pressure takes care of the rest!
September 3, 201114 yr Author I had thoughts similar to yours and decided to run it and it worked fine. I did figure out how to dissasemble it and it did make the bottom end noticably stronger.
