February 8, 201214 yr Hi Solvent3 I am very interested in your C15 project, especialy the bashplate I can't find any for sale for the C15 (anyone have any clues?) Do you know if it's a "home brew" bashplate or a bought item. Cheers Kev For a bashplate, if you want something fancy would imagine D & C Classic Motor Cycles can help you out or re-direct you. Otherwise for the more pure functional try Steve Jones of http://progressiveclassicproducts.co.uk/ , he has been known for a while for the loads of stuff he does for Ajays and Matchless, but seems to have expanded his activities for the good of the classic British-trials-iron enthusiasts.
March 3, 201214 yr Author Was looking at Alf the other day and looking at the sump which hangs down below the bottom frame rails,is there a sump guard/bash plate for the C15 or will I have to make one.Googled plenty of websites looking for such an article but no joy. Making one won't be a problem but it would be nice to see one so I can get some ideas. cheers the noo Brian Edited March 3, 201214 yr by broony

March 12, 201214 yr Author Finally on the mend after last weeks Serious Man Flu ,missed last weeks trial on the TY.Managed to do a bit of work on the Alf the C15(new small end bush). I was wondering what sort of fit/clearance there should be between the bush and the gudgeon pin(waiting on a reamer coming to finish it off). cheers the noo Brian

June 14, 201214 yr Author Hi Ross, the body is slowly getting there, must have got bitten on the foot by something(the joys of sleeping in a tent) as between my wee toe's swollen/inflamed/itchy.I got some tablets from the doctor,I'll be fit for Sunday. Will give John a buzz. cheers the noo Brian
November 10, 201213 yr Author Well that's Alf's year finished, finished his last trial today.Nearly managed a full trial but the chain came off on the middle of the last section on the last lap.I couldn't see anything obvious to cause this apart from a build up of muck around the front sprocket? I don't run a chain guard would this help stop some of the muck getting trapped ? Alignment is ok/tension ok and its new chain and sprockets anybody had anything similar? cheers the noo Brian
November 10, 201213 yr Author Hi there I got the carb. from Amal.I phoned them to order the carb. and spoke to a really helpful bloke who sorted out the jetting as they have loads of info concerning carburation,Fitted the carb and it only needed a slight adjustment.Think I've got it noted somewhere I'll have a look and if I find them I'll let you know. cheers the noo Brian
