Swingarm Axle

Hi Guys, have a bit of a problem the swingarm axle seems to be massively seized in on my little bro's 06 125. The swingarm moves without the axle spinning so it seems to be seized inside the engine casing. The axle doesnt turn and even I've tried shocking the axle out with a powefull rivet gun whilst trying to turn at the same time. I don't see how it could be so seized in. Anyone have any ideas???

Time to break out the old flame wrench.

Heat and penetrating oil.

Plenty of both..

Vibration helps, too.

If you have an impact gun with a low setting, get the heat and oil in there and keep the gun on for awhile and that will really help the oil to penetrate.

Just did mine, it was totally seized, would not turn at all, Allan key snapped head off bolt. I soaked it overnight with WD 40, bought a new bolt and smashed it out with a lump hammer and a long round chisel, took 10-15 minutes but its out.
