December 17, 201114 yr I would like to install a 300 seat onto my 240. Can anybody please advise me on what mods need to be made. Picture(s) would be appreciated. Many thanks, Paul.
December 18, 201114 yr I have a 300 seat waiting to go on my 240 too, just haven't got around to it yet ... All you have to do is remove the stock seat and the side panels , set the 300 seat in place where it will hold your tank down correctly and you will see right where you have to weld some bolt tabs to the frame to line up with the 300 seat bracket bolt holes ...! Basically dead center of the rear side cover hole . If done correctly cover will still snap in place ... Glenn Edited December 18, 201114 yr by axulsuv

December 21, 201114 yr Paul; Maybe just the padding on your tank rubber , depending on it's condition. Closed cell self adhesive weather strip can work wonders ... Glenn , PS . and thank Chris ...
