Rockshocks + 348

Featured Replies

Hi, just wondering if anybody here has had any experience with Rockshocks on a Cota 348.

I am looking to upgrade and these are looking favorites due to the fact they are rebuildable and support seems to be very good from reports on here (also they look very nice)

What are other people running with or recommend, the bike will be used on Clubman routes in classic trials.

Thanks in advance

I have found that standard trial classic 340mm Falcons work very well on my Cota 348.

On the same bike I have also tried 1980s Marzocchis, 1990s Marzocchis, 1970s Boge Mulholland, 1970s KONI special D and modern Betors.

The Betors are quite good but not as good as the Falcons.

Dont know if they are the same now, but I ran original Rockshocks on a 348 when it was new(ish). At the time they were very good - liked the adjustability and seemed miles better than the original hydrabags.

brind31 did you know there is a Facebook site dedicated to the Cota 348. Lots of 348 owners there. Its called Montesa Cota 348
