Ty Majesty Seat

Featured Replies

was looking for a seat for my 250 majesty graig wants £135.are the sm seats any good? i know they are black covers but it could be changed to red.

I paid £50 for an SM seat for my Ariel at Telford,it fits OK - but I wouldnt say its good quality.Saying that, the SM tank/seat unit on my TY250 is pretty much like new and its been on there since I bought it in 2006.

The Godden frame is a bit slimmer across the seat tubes, so a normal TY250 seat may need playing with to fit. If you have a Yam framed Majesty there should be no problem. You have to use your own brackets and sometimes these are rusted in and a bugger to remove.

Depends what is wrong with your seat obviously (assuming you have one) but if the base unit is still ok why not just get it recovered. Cost is usually around £30 - 40 for a new foam and cover on a trials size seat.

One of the seat cover sellers on ebay who sells TY covers will knock one up in Maj colours apparently, got to be worth a call, as Woody says if you have a good base of course....
