March 23, 201214 yr I intend to use my 315 for trail riding. Does anyone have any experience of what gearing to use to give 50-60 mph on the road. Your expert help would be apprieciated.
March 23, 201214 yr With a 10tooth front and 42 tooth rear i could hit 60 KPH with a bit left,im trying a 9 tooth at the moment but not been anywhere i could wind it it up,if that helps. Andy cdt.
March 24, 201214 yr Author Thanks Andy. Mines currently running 10/40, so should be marginally faster top end than yours. When the bikes MOT'd I'll try it out.

March 26, 201214 yr No clue..... I'd speak to Renthal direct if I were you. I'm only assuming one exists....
March 26, 201214 yr i have a 315r and my dad has a 98 Gas Gas TXT 250. They both share the same rear sprocket, although not sure if they make a 38t for the Gas Gas.. could be worth a try though! Hope this helps!
