April 2, 201214 yr what alternatives are there instead of the standard carb,the usuall not idling issue so thinking of changing it to a better alternative,and has anyone managed to fit a limiter to the throttle,i;m trying to teach my 7 year old,but hes a bit frightened of going to fast,with the standard carb i cant get a plastic tube to restrict the cable,any idea's cheers andy
April 2, 201214 yr Hi, if you find any alternatives on the carb please post on here. We have the same issues as does everyone with a pre 09 minitrial by the sounds of it ... Does your bike also cut out when going down hill and you have to rev it to keep it alive. I have tried everything I have read on forums to correct this issue but not sure if anyone has ever cured it ? Otherwise the bike is great for learning on, god knows why beta never sourced a retrofit part to sort this gremlin out.
