I seem to keep bending my rear brake pedal lever. Has anyone solved the problem and how?

A posh billet one or a Sherco pedal which I believe to be a little shorter. Don't take my word as gospel though, I have no experience of either yet.

I shelled out a painful amount of money for a Vmar brake pedal, and that solved the problem. The pedal is billet, and it is shorter than stock, so it hides out of harm's way.
