April 23, 201214 yr Hi all. As you can see I'm pretty new to this forum, and to trials in general - I'm making he cross over from enduro. I'm going to look at a Gas Gas TXT 125 later today, and would be grateful of any tips and hints on what to look for / look out for. As I'm new to the sport, and only weigh 63 kilos I think a 125 will be just fine for me! Thanks in advance for your help...
April 23, 201214 yr Suspension linkage Piston slap Check chain good indicator of maintainence Put hand over exhaust and listen for nasty rattles btw pull clutch in while doing this Overall checks and general look Btw it will have scrapes and scores check expensive stuff tho
May 6, 201214 yr Author Stupid question, but how do I tell the difference between the TXT and the Pro model? 2002/2003 seems to be the changeover year.... According to the chassis number, bike is an 02 model, built in Jan 03......
