July 2, 201214 yr Author The BLM has informed us that due to the hot/dry conditions, the State of Colorado is under "Stage Two" fire restrictions. In order to have the permit for Turkey Rock, ALL bikes must have SPARK ARRESTORS (NO EXCEPTIONS) and NO OPEN FIRES AND/OR CHARCOAL GRILLS. Gas BBQ grills with the small propane bottles will be okay. Do not show up without a "spark arrestor" you will not be permitted to ride PERIOD. BLM staff will be at the event monitoring this requirement. Will keep you updated if conditions change.
