chewy Posted July 25, 2012 Report Share Posted July 25, 2012 probably putting this in wrong place ; a few usefull places to go and ride whilst in France Le Chamadou;.......... trials terrain camping etc (family facilities) www.camping-le-chamadou.com Happy trial................never been way down south... www.ecolehappytrial.fr La Bresse............ camping (limited space) trials terrain up to world standard ........www.motos88.com other trials worth planning for (apart from Creuse which loads of folk know of) Les 3 Jours de trial des Hautes Vosges runs every other year ..last year was excellent usually late july (after Creuse on way home?) Les 3 Jours de Ardech... Excellent.. runs end May early June Both these trials are well organised c. 60 to 100 K lap.... different every day with proper restaurant lunch stops, sections for all abilities advertised as no stop but nobody seems to understand meaning of that least of all hard route section plotters and observers. Getting entries for latter two is very difficult as they are "sold out" on first come first served basis Ardeche was 2 hours to fill up this year expect Vosges to be similar next year.
