Hi all, being new to the sport I have got my first trial at earl shilton on the 9th of December and was wondering what sort of tyre pressures should I be running for what conditions ? I have got an 09 txt pro 300.

Hi Matt, the standard is 4ld for rear and 6ld for front, thats what I use all year.

5psi front and 3psi rear is a good start. I weigh in at a mighty 67kg, so I run 2.5rear and 4 front and I find it works fine. Any less and you risk damaging the rim and you don't really gain any advantage.

I've experimented with tyre pressures lately and gone down to 3psi in the rear.

What I've found is the extra spread of the tyre has helped me with my balance!
