I must have missed something somewhere. I have both a 1975 KX250 cover and a 1975 KX400 cover sitting here, the KX400 does not fit. and the KX250 cover wil not go all the way on due to the primary gear. I thought it was the oil pump drive bolt but its not.

    the one i installed has the lever on the top of the cover, direct bolt on, i have removed the pump assembly, and had a block off plate installed.
