Dougie Lampkin Replica: Kill Button?

I have a used Beta Dougie Lampkin replica which I believe is a 1999 (?)

It arrived in my hands w/o a kill button. I prefer to ride with one.

Can anyone say which wire in the electrical system can be grounded with a kill button w/o damage to the rest of the system?

The ECM bears the name Ducati and seems to have a part number of 34 20 3001 It has a six pin connector in addition to a blue ground cable. There is a white wire with red strip that I suspect was connected to a kill button at some time. Is this typical coloration for a kill button wire?

Any help much appreciated.
