Hi, was wondering what brands anyone can recommend for gearbox on cota 247.

EP or not? or doesnt it matter.

    EP oil in the clutch case will reduce the friction available between the clutch plates, and not advised to use it in the gearbox either, in case some gearbox oil leaks into the clutch case

    A light gear oil in the gearbox (any modern brand).

    And ATF in the clutch case.

    To be more specific, use an API GL4 75W90 gear oil in the gearbox and my preference is a 10W30 motor oil for the clutch, which is what the Montesa manuals call for.
