montscorp
Hi Chaps Thought I would take a punt and see if anyone has any info on King Scorpions M34 (not the autolube model) I know the Scorpion isn't a trials bike, but Ive just taken ownership of one and don't know what to do with it. It runs and is 90% original, but needs a lot of love. Paint, rims, cables, tank lining, the lot, probably an engine rebuild wouldn't go a miss either, but is it worth it, were they any good? are these bikes worth investing that time and money into ? any info would be greatly received. Many thanks
jon v8
Looks like fun to me,if there are no other projects in the way get on and do it ! Its a part of history, one which most or all on here are interested in,so keep money out of it and enjoy....
martin belair
Here is a link to another KS thread: http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/46027-montesa-king-scorpion/ Your bike looks to be in fair shape. What's going on with the kick starter? broken spring? They are great bikes. Give it a little TLC and she'll be right. KS parts come up on ebay from time to time. Not to discourage you, but your front wheel and fork legs are not Montesa parts. They look Japanese. The triple clamps are original Montesa parts. Grab the serial number and visit Montesaweb.com to find out more about your KS. Welcome to the KS club. Martin
