October 23, 201312 yr hi wondering if anyone knows the screw settings for the carb on a scorpa sy 250 06.it wont idle without choke then sometimes it when you close choke it revs its nuts off or just dies
October 23, 201312 yr Could be an air leak either between carb and engine or direct into engine such as crank seals.
January 14, 201412 yr It is definitely leaning out when the choke is closed. You may have a blockage in the idle or pilot circuits in the carby. You need to pull it out and strip and clean it as previously suggested. Including blowing all the galleries out to ensure they are clear of any fouling. Edited January 14, 201412 yr by cactusjack
