Coolant colour isnt important as you find that it changes with different companies. What is important is that you get a coolant which is safe to use with aluminium. I use putoline coolant in my 300 racing with no problems and its a green colour

There are 2 types of coolant : ethylene glycol and propylene glycol. If you you use the opposite to what is already in then it will eat away at your your aluminium components. Generally speaking green/blue colours are the same and red/orange are the same.

Whichever you decide to use stick to one type and thoroughly flush your coolant system with a cleaner approved for use on aluminium before refilling. Traditional antifreeze containing Mono Ethylene Glycol. This Engine Coolant Concentrate to BS 6580-2010. is my preference. There seems to be quite a few cases of clogging / reaction when the red long life antifreeze is used.
