subira Posted June 28, 2005 Report Share Posted June 28, 2005 Talking of carb boot.... is mine just a one off. My 2003 has a one piece tube from airfilter to carb, no doughnut rubber thing. Strange they only list a BT280328017 part for all cc's in 03 and its still the same in 05 again across the range. Check the part number stamped on it. Its a pain to change, as around the 'TUBE, AIR CLEANER CONNECT' is the one place Senior Gasser managed to use plenty of sealant. I can't figure out why the sealant is put on how it is Lots of sweat and swearing required to seperate it from the airbox bottom half - I split the box to change it, as I was fitting a new bottom half.
