I have moved this post from a previous one due to a different problem.

Checked my bike tonight and the 280 2002 txt standard is fine going up the gears

but coming back down hits a false neutral between 6th and 5th gear, not really a problem for me, but what are the possible causes and could it escalate to further problems ?

Are there other known problems with this bike that i need to look for?

I am so far very happy and impressed with it
