And Then There Was The Sun.

Hi again,

The offroadarchive has another British manufacturer to bring to your attention!

Riding in the 1957 SSDT is G W Robinson on his Sun trials model, watched, I believe by one of the most stalwart supporters of the event over the years, one of the Grant twins, who had a shop way in the highlands at Rogart - so only one could come each day.

Enjoy.

Hi,

I have a definite feeling I've already posted this image somewhere recently - but I can't find it, so blame my constant companion Al Tzheimer, not me!

This is what the Sun trials model looked like when you got it home from the dealers. This example was Cecil Bailey's personal model that he bought in '53 or '54 - he couldn't remember which!

Note the early Metal Profiles forks.

Enjoy.
